From the thread to the finished garment. The seamless 3D knitting technology also guarantees careful use of resources, as the yarns used are 100% knitted and therefore no waste is generated during production.
A knitting machine produces a sweater in about 60 to 90 minutes. This means that the maximum production per machine is only about 14 pieces/day. Seamless knitting is therefore a technology for small, individual productions.
We use 100% recycled shipping boxes and recycled paper to package your order – completely without plastic.
Your orders are shipped sustainably worldwide - at no additional cost. The CO2 emissions generated during transport are offset by investments in climate protection projects.

Welche Rolle spielen Materialien für Eure Nachhaltigkeit?
Materialien sind eine der wichtigsten Stellschrauben.
Wir nutzen vor allem natürliche, erneuerbare Rohstoffe wie Merinowolle, Baumwolle, Leinen und ausgewählte Zellulosefasern.
Sie sind langlebig, reparierbar und angenehm zu tragen. So reduziert sich der Bedarf an häufigem Neukauf – und damit auch der ökologische Fußabdruck pro Kleidungsstück.
Wie achtet Ihr auf faire Bedingungen in der Produktion?
Unsere Kollektion wird vollständig in Deutschland gefertigt – im eigenen Atelier in Trier und in kleinen Partnerbetrieben.
Im eigenen Atelier gestalten wir die Arbeitsbedingungen selbst. Mit unseren Partnerbetrieben stehen wir im persönlichen Austausch und begleiten die Fertigung.
So kennen wir die Menschen hinter unseren Kleidungsstücken und erhalten Einblicke in ihre Arbeitsweise.
Was tut NNIstudio, um Ressourcen zu sparen?
Wir planen kleine Produktionsmengen und verwenden auch Deadstock – Stoffe aus vorhandenen Restbeständen.
Bei unseren nahtlosen 3D-Strickstücken entsteht die Form direkt auf der Maschine. Dadurch entfallen Zuschnittreste und Nahtzugaben.
So setzen wir an mehreren Stellen an: bei der Materialbeschaffung, der Mengenplanung und der Verarbeitung.
Wie werden Versand und Retouren nachhaltiger gestaltet?
Wir versenden mit DHL GoGreen Plus. Der Service unterstützt zusätzliche Maßnahmen zur Verringerung von Treibhausgasemissionen im DHL-Transportnetz.
Mit klaren Produktinformationen und persönlicher Größen- und Passformberatung helfen wir Dir, ein passendes Stück auszuwählen. So möchten wir vermeidbare Retouren reduzieren.
Versandkartons verwenden wir erneut, wenn ihr Zustand dafür geeignet ist.
